Should 9th and 10th Graders in Uzbekistan Start SAT Prep?

Starting SAT preparation in 9th or 10th grade doesn't mean drilling practice tests for three years. It means building the foundation that makes 11th-grade test prep dramatically more effective.

When Should You Start SAT Preparation?

The ideal SAT testing window for Uzbek students is typically 11th grade (May or August test date) — this gives time to retake in fall of 12th grade if needed while still meeting most application deadlines.

That said, what you do in 9th-10th grade directly determines how high your 11th-grade SAT ceiling can be.

9th Grade: Foundation Building
